Zoom Integration Guide

AutoWebinarPro connects to your Zoom account so it can create registration-required meetings for your webinars and register each attendee automatically, giving every attendee a personal join link. This guide covers adding, using, and removing the integration.

What the integration does

  • Creates a Zoom meeting with registration required when you set up a webinar;
  • Adds each person who registers through your AutoWebinarPro page as a meeting registrant, so Zoom sends them their unique join link;
  • Reads your Zoom profile (name and email) to confirm which account is connected.

AutoWebinarPro requests only the permissions needed for these actions. It never accesses your Zoom password, cloud recordings, or meetings unrelated to your campaigns.

Adding the app (connecting your Zoom account)

  1. Step 1

    Open Zoom settings

    Sign in to AutoWebinarPro, go to Settings, and open the Zoom tab.

  2. Step 2

    Start the connection

    Click Connect Zoom. You'll be redirected to Zoom's secure authorization page.

  3. Step 3

    Sign in and authorize

    Sign in with the Zoom account that will host your meetings, review the requested permissions (view your user profile, create meetings, and add meeting registrants), and click Allow.

  4. Step 4

    Confirm the connection

    You'll be returned to AutoWebinarPro, where the Zoom tab now shows your connected account's name and email. The connection is stored securely with encrypted tokens.

Using the integration

Once connected, no further setup is needed. When you create or schedule a webinar in AutoWebinarPro, a registration-required Zoom meeting is created on your account. As people register through your campaign pages, they are added to the meeting in Zoom and receive their personal join link, while AutoWebinarPro handles your confirmation and reminder messages.

You can verify the connection at any time in Settings > Zoom, which shows the connected account. If you switch Zoom accounts, use Reconnect to authorize the new account.

Removing the app (disconnecting Zoom)

You can remove the integration from either side:

  • From AutoWebinarPro: go to Settings > Zoom and click Disconnect. This deletes your stored Zoom tokens and stops all meeting creation and registrant syncing immediately.
  • From Zoom: sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace, go to Manage > Added Apps, find AutoWebinarPro, and click Remove. This revokes our access from Zoom's side.

After removal, AutoWebinarPro can no longer access your Zoom account. Meetings already created remain in your Zoom account, and registrants keep their join links.

Troubleshooting

  • "Invalid scope" during authorization: the app's permissions were recently changed — try again, and contact support if it persists.
  • Connection shows the wrong account: disconnect, then reconnect and sign in to Zoom with the correct account when prompted.
  • Registrants not appearing in Zoom: confirm the Zoom tab still shows a connected account, and that the webinar's meeting was created after the connection was made.
